I ordered the vertical food allergy cards. I wish they had more information on them. I've previously ordered cards that spelled out the allergy. For example the previous ones explained what gluten is (wheat, rye, barley) versus just saying Gluten. I don't know if this is a change or if I ordered the wrong product.
Perhaps our navigation can be improved, but our products are exactly as shown on the listings. When a multiple allergy card is ordered, that's what we provide. When a specialized celiac card is ordered, that's what we provide. We don't make assumptions about one's needs, but are always SO happy to help if there are any issues in the ordering process. It makes our team sad to not have the chance to make things right, vs. receiving low star reviews :(
Really pleased with these, they were just what I wanted and the fact I could download them pretty much instantly was great as I was against the clock to find something. When I needed to get in touch with Equal Eats as I wasn’t able to open one of the downloads, I had a response within minutes and the problem fixed straight away. They were very helpful.
I have severe life-threatening nut allergies, and found Equal Eats as I was preparing to travel abroad for the first time to a county with a different primary language. I really appreciated having so much ability to customize - I listed both nuts/tree nuts in general as well as the few specific ones that are most severe. My order was checked and sent over in a matter of hours even on a weekend, and I was able to print them out to carry in my wallet. I showed one to every server while traveling, and they all seemed to really appreciate it and some even took back to the kitchen to show the chef. This gave me so much peace of mind! I will never travel without them now. I’m even keeping them in my wallet now that I’m home to share the English side with any restaurants where I may want more of a guaranteed understanding.
