Equal Eats at the Free From Festival Bristol 2025

This weekend, the Equal Eats team was in Bristol for the Free From Festival, connecting with the coeliac, allergy and free from community and sharing how our translation cards help make travel safer. 

We had an incredible time meeting so many passionate advocates, brands, and attendees. Here’s a look at some of the highlights from the event, along with our thoughts on the experience.

Free From Festival host and content creator Morgan McKenzie Moore @howtocoeliac loves both our small and large translation cards!

Lisa and I were delighted to see Matt Bzdel @glutenfreestreetgang. Matt very kindly mentioned how much he loves the Equal Eats cards during his talk on 'Eating Gluten Free Across the Globe.'  

Lindiwe Lewis @behindtheallergy was conducting interviews and filming at the event. Lindiwe is a passionate allergy advocate and supporter of Equal Eats.

We also met Immy, age four @the_coeliac_princess  who lives with coeliac disease and was very excited to meet Darshi, Lisa's daughter who also has coeliac disease, and was volunteering on our stand.

We had so much interest in our Equal Eats app and loved showing everyone its features. The app is perfect if you prefer not to carry cards or are visiting multiple countries. You can create and save many cards to your phone, toggling between over 50 languages, and also share them by text and email. 

The Free From Festival was such an inspiring event bringing together people of all generations with dietary restrictions. We absolutely love meeting new people, making connections, and helping others enjoy dining out and traveling with greater confidence. We can't wait for our next event with Equal Eats in the UK.
