Definitely a must-have for traveling with severe allergies! I have traveled with these cards in both Portugal and Spain, and each time I used it, the restaurant staff were able to give me a clear answer as to what I could eat at the restaurant. This significantly increased my comfort level eating out at restaurants. The card is comprehensive, worded effectively, and well-laid out. It is attention-grabbing and highlights allergy severity without being overly-alarming, which I’ve found can push some waitstaff away from wanting to serve you anything at all. I especially appreciate that the card lists out all common tree nuts because many languages do not have an exact equivalent term for “tree nuts.” A tip for your travels: go straight to the source and ask the waitstaff to show the card to the kitchen staff! This avoids any miscommunication between servers and the kitchen.
