Travel is about discovery - new places, new people, and new foods.
But for many people with food allergies or dietary restrictions, eating away from home can come with anxiety and risk, especially when language barriers make communication difficult.
Equal Eats was created to change that.
Inspired by travelers, parents, chefs, and servers, our translation cards help clearly and respectfully communicate dietary needs anywhere in the world.
Because everyone deserves an equal seat at the table - and the confidence to enjoy food safely, wherever they go.
Our History
Our process
Quality is #1
We consulted over 2,000 people to ensure our cards contained the most effective messaging possible.
Our card design team consists of individuals with dietary restrictions, parents, chefs, wait staff, nutritionists, translators, linguists, and more.
The result? A premium dietary card that strikes a balance of what our community needs to communicate, and what foodservice staff need to hear.
